预测课作文冲刺

预测作文范文1Families are not as close as before. Give reasons for this change, and suggest some ways to bring families closer.
You should write at least 250 words. You should use your own ideasof knowledge and experience and support your arguments withexamples and relevant evidence.

Inthe past, family was a very important concept in people’s minds, and it was the center of many people’s lives. Nowadays, however, the relationship between family members is not as close as before. But as to what factors contribute to this phenomenon, differentpeople have diverse opinions. As far as I am concerned, it resultsfrom the following reasons.

Thefirst reason is that people spend more time on their study andwork. Compared with the past, people face fierce competition andsuffer from great pressure. Therefore, they have to devote moretime and energy to their careers. Some people are too occupied tospare time for their family. What is more, many jobs require peopleto work in other cities and many children have to leave theirparents at an early age to study or work elsewhere. As time passes, these people become emotionally estranged from their parents.
Another reason is that thereare more entertainment forms available. Nowadays high technologybrings us more interesting things which can easily attract people’sattention, such as watching TV, surfing the Internet or platingvideo games. As a result, people are indulged in these activities, totally neglecting the feelings of other familymembers.

To bringfamilies closer, people put forward various suggestions. Firstly, never bring your work home and leave it in your office. We shouldspare more time with family members no matter how occupied we are.Secondly, try to squeeze some time for a regular family dinnerbecause dinner time is a perfect time and opportunity for people toexchange their feelings and ideas. Last but not least, we shouldteach the children the sense of family when they are stillyoung.

Familyis the basic unit of a society. It plays a significant role in ourlives. In order to enjoy a harmonious family life and maintain astable society, we should take efforts to create a close familyrelationship. (342 words)

预测作文范文2:Customers are facedwith increasing amounts of advertising due to the competition amongcompanies. To what extent do you think consumers are influenced byadvertisements? And what measures can be taken to protect theirinterests?

Recently, I found on theinternet that advertisements are regarded as another term ofpollution to the public. However, hardly could anyone imagine theworld it as it certainly brings huge amount of merits. As far as Icould tell, the amount of pros that advertising has brought topeople has far exceeded its cons.
In the first instance, advertising is the sales promotion strategies. In such sort ofmarket, firms compete with each other to gain the market shares. However, they will be reluctant to increase or lower their pricebecause the information is interdependent and consumers have gottones of other substitutes. Therefore, the only way to promotetheir sales will be through advertising. Some consumers, on theother hands, do find such information useful while choosing what tobuy. There is a common sense in it: hardly could an inefficient andstagnant firm invest a great deal of money on investment. Inaddition to that, big firms tend to provide goods and services withbetter quality, which might benefit the consumers.

Nevertheless , some argue thatpeople will be easily swayed by advertisement featuring withbeautiful movie stars and make irrational decisions or even buygoods on impulse especially when talking about youngsters with lessconsciousness and experience. This is still a rather minor problem. We can tackle this by taking some measurements. For example, toeducate young people not buying goods they don’t need and maybe seta regulation of age limits on purchasing certain goods likecosmetics and high-tech products.
To conclude, advertisements in my opinion will hardly influencepeople’s purchasing patterns. Instead, some well-madeadvertisements can improve the aesthetical capability of theviewers. Although youngsters are worried in this advertisingexplosion century, education and recognition can prevent them frombeing affected to a great extent.

预测作文3:Some people think thatpersonal happiness is directly related to economic success. Othersargue that happiness depends on completely other factors. Discussboth of the views and give your own opinion.

Some people believe that happiness isrelated to economic success because only money can make people’slife more enjoyable. When it comes to economic success, themajority of people believe that money means a luxurious life. Tobegin with, if someone owns great success on economic, that meanshe can spend more money on whatever he likes and spend more time onhis hobbies. Emotionally, money can buy happiness at least to someextent. That is to say, you can buy things that you like in orderto fulfill your needs and vanities and this makes you feel happier. You can also enjoy the best education and social welfare. Thirdly, economic success implies high social class and status, which canmake people feel happy and respectable.

Opponents, however, hold the view thathappiness does not depend on economic success but completely otherfactors. First of all, numerous studies show that happy individualsare successful across multiple life domains, including marriage, income, work performance and health. The happiness exists not onlybecause economic success makes people happy, but also becausepositive affect engenders happiness. What’s more, It isindisputable that there are millions of people who still have amiserable life and have to fact the dangers of starvation andexposure, but some of them sill lead a happy life because they keepthe happy spirit. Last but not least, money can not buy everything, such as friendship, true love and health. You can buy thingscorporeal, but you can never spend money to ask for moretime.

In the final analysis, both sides havesound foundations. However, if asked to make a choice, I will nothesitate to assent to the latter. I firmly believe that happinessis not only related to economic success but also links to otherfactors which are much more significant.

预测作文4: Discuss the difference betweenfast food and traditional food, such as nutrition, andrecipe?

Living in a fast-paced society, the modern eatersare not longer interested in the contents of their food, butfocused on whether a convenient meal is available at hand todevour. Statistics indicate that even housewives spend much shortertime at kitchen than their predecessors. This writing will compareand contrast advantages and disadvantages of fast food andtraditional food.

Traditional food has its unshakable position inthe human culture both in the social and historical context.Historically, chefs have gone to all lengths to experiment onnovelties, invent cooking skills to gratify guests' hunger. Hence, traditional food has secured its incomparable value with a complexof features, including the variance, flavor, and taste. Its uniquecharms can nurture social relations as well. A family is accustomedto prepare a traditional feast to serve their guests at weekend oron holiday, such as Christmas.

Further, traditional food is favorably nutritiousand balanced, compared with fast food. Dieticians have suggestedaudience through millions of televised courses that traditionalfood can retain more nutrition before being served on the table, for in general, they are cooked with a temperate heat. By contrast, the fast food are made at such a high temperature that nutritionhas inescapably vaporized during the cooking process. Meanwhile, cooks pay more attention to the balance of recipe when preparingtraditional food, such as combing meat with vegetable.

Despite a range of advantages, traditional food isovershadowed by its fast competitor in terms of time. Traditionalfood can consume a considerable amount of time from choosingmaterials, to arranging your table for visual appeal. In contrast, fast food cannot be faster when making a five-minute trip to astore around the corner, or even dialing to a fast food company.Needless to say recently, a string of fast food companies havetried their hardest to enrich the menu.

To sum up, traditional food has an irreplaceablerole in our life, backed with various merits. However, itsprevalence is declining for people are more and more timeconscious.

预测作文5: Should experiments be conducted on animals for thebenefit of human beings?6 P1 Y Every day, thousands of people aresaved from painful diseases and death by powerful medical drugs andtreatments. This incredible gift of medicine would not be possiblewithout animal testing. Despite these overwhelming benefits, however, some people are calling for animal testing to be bannedbecause of alleged cruelty. This essay will examine arguments forand against animal testing.

Those against the use of animal testing claim that it isinhumane to use animals in experiments. I disagree completely. Itwould be much more inhumane to test new drugs on children oradults. Even if it were possible, it would also take much longer tosee potential effects, because of the length of time we livecompared to laboratory animals such as rats orrabbits.
Opponents of animal testing also claim that the results are notapplicable to humans. This may be partly true. Some drugs have hadto be withdrawn, despite testing. However, we simply do not havealternative methods of testing. Computer models are not advancedenough, and testing on plants is much less applicable to humansthan tests on animals such as monkeys. Until we have a bettersystem, we must use animal testing.
n1A further point often raised against animal testing isthat it is cruel. Some of the tests certainly seem painful, but thegreat majority of people on this planet eat meat or wear leatherwithout any guilt. Where is their sympathy for animals?Furthermore, animals clearly do not feel the same way as humans, and scientists are careful to minimize stress in the animals, sincethis would damage their research.Iagree that we need to make sure that animals who are used fortesting new products have the minimum of suffering. However, I amconvinced that animal testing is necessary, and that it willcontinue to benefit humans in new and wonderful ways.(311words)

预测作文范文6 IShould criminals be sent to prison or should they dosomething else as a punishment? Explain your opinion and give yourreason.

Inrecent years, a growing number of people have begun to challengeagainst the existing practice of sending criminals to prison. Theyargue that the law offenders should be punished to do something forthe public. In my opinion, however, they should be locked up inprisons.

Firstof all, it can ensure a safe and comfortable living environment tothe law-abiding citizens. For criminals like thieves, robbers, rapists or even murderers, it is improper or even dangerous to letthem out of jails, because they still pose threat to our society.Just as an old saying goes, Mercy to the criminal may be cruelty tothe people.
Theimprisonment of criminals not only punishes the criminals but alsodeters the potential criminals. It will make would-be criminalsthink twice before they commit a crime. Researches reveal thatthere is a direct link between the implementation of imprisoningcriminals and the decline of crime rate. Without the practice, theworld would be in great chaos and full of blood and violence.
Some people may say that the practice lays heavyfinancial burden on the government. In fact, if the police want thebehavior. of the criminals to be under control, they have to spendmore money and time in supervising the criminals after they are setfree. Furthermore, once the criminals commit crimes again, it willtake the police much trouble to catch them. In addition, the lossand the damage to the victims will be irreparable.

Fromwhat I mentioned above, it is not difficult to draw a conclusionthat criminals should be imprisoned in jails and receive compulsoryreclaim.

预测作文范文7 Youngpeople are important resources to their country, but governmentsmay ignore some problems faced by young people in running thecountry. Please show those problems and give your ideal suggestionsto solve them.

Young people are important resources to the country. Butit seems that the government ignores some problems faced by youngpeople in running the country.&The major problem, to my mind, lies in education. Despitethe increasing number of young people accessible to universities orcolleges, there are still lots of young people who have no chanceto receive advanced education, especially those in poor families inrural areas. The dropout rate of teenagers reaches 40% in remoterural areas, according to a nation wide survey. Besides, there areno enough open universities where young people can continue theirstudy.

Another problem faced by most young people is employment. It is more and more difficult for young people to get satisfactoryjobs nowadays, even if they own degrees. Many enterprises andcompanies prefer experienced job seekers. They consider it an extracost to train greenhorns. The statistical data shows that 35%college graduates of 2003 have not been employed till now. Andthere is a lack of vocational guidance for young people insociety

The last but not theleast is that the mental problems of young people have not beenpaid much attention. They have no proper ways to relieve thepressure and anxiety from study and work, which often leads todepression or other mental diseases.
The government has much to do to solve theseproblems. Young people in poor families should be sponsored tocontinue their study and more open universities should beestablished. The government should also provide some socialtraining to help young people gain experience. At the same time, more psychology tutorship or consultation for young people isnecessary. Only when the problems are solved will a countrydevelop.

预测作文范文8 A SocialProblem

Nowadays more andmore persons are out of work. They are called laid-off personal. They are now confronted with the difficulty of re-choice ofprofessions. People may doubt why there are so many personsbecoming unemployed. Will they be able to be employed again? Howwill they adapt themselves to the changed social environment? Is itnecessary for them to alter their views of obtaining employment? Tosolve all these problems, we should help them to have a clearunderstanding of the present situation, change their views onre-choice of professions, build up a firm confidence in obtainingemployment again.
China’s economy has grown rapidly inthe past decades since the adoption of the policy of reform. andopening to the outside world. Investment from abroad has taken rootinChina’s economy. High-technology has been applied in variousfields and great change has taken place inChina’s structure. Thisis a law of economic development. It is admitted that thedevelopment of economy will eventually bring about a high rate ofunemployment—a serious socialproblem.
Theproblem is not why they are out of jobs, but how to help themovercome difficulties and find jobs again as soon as possible.First, the government should create more opportunities for them tobe employed. Second, they should change their views of choice ofwork. The idea that only working in governmental offices or in bigfactories can be regarded as a success of being employed must bechanged. Third, to b e willing to do hard work, dirty work and eventhe work that others are reluctant to do. In a word, all of us areobliged to express our concern, love and support for them and helpthem get over their difficulties to win success.
